Pride on the Pav: Handmade Artist Demos is taking place at 11 a.m. on June 29 at Pike Place Market in honor of Pride Month.

Shull started creating her trademark ceramic pigs back in 1998 after making one for her daughter, which was praised by her family. That led her to start making them for loved ones, then, in 2006, set up a stall to sell her work publicly at Pike Place Market. After a year, she left her day job to make ceramic pigs full time.
