WORLD ART AWARDS NAMES THE 20 BEST GALLERIES ON THE GLOBE

The 20 Best International Galleries and Museums for 2023 have been named by the World Art Awards. Decisions were based on location, size, aesthetics, socially relevant exhibits, motivational and educational programs, years established, industry reputation, online interest, represented artists as well as artist, client and visitor references, among other criteria.

World Art Awards:“We selected some European historical museums with art and antiquities going back thousands of years, and also some with masterpieces by Botticelli, Mantegna, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Rubens, Rembrandt, Renoir, Monet, Gauguin, Chagall, Matisse, Picasso. We chose an Italian museum over 140,000 sq ft, and some contemporary art galleries much smaller. We selected some very new and contemporary hotspots in diverse countries and cultures representing important young work, from painting to digital to photography to sculpture.

Imahica Art presents “Neon Dreams: Through the Prism”: Where Art Meets Culture

The art exhibit, “Neon Dreams: Through the Prism”, opened at the Imahika Art Gallery to provide a captivating window into one of the most influential art movements in 20th-Century Art.

Artworks from different artists brought together by Gabo Valenzuela is on display, whose vibrant often larger-than-life pieces incorporate imagery from everyday common objects to advertising, comic books, and video games.

By presenting these artworks, “Neon Dreams: Through the Prism”, viewers are invited to reconsider the boundaries between Fine Art and popular culture.

ATC Acquires Majority Stake in Raw Power to Form UK Artist Management ‘Powerhouse’

Financial terms reveal that ATC paid £1.4 million ($1.8 million) for a 55% stake in Raw Power, which was founded in 2006 by CEO Craig JenningsRod Smallwood and Andy Taylor. Headquartered in London and with offices in Los Angeles, Raw Power’s other clients include The Mars Volta, The Damned, You Me At Six, Don Broco, Heartworms, Kid Kapichi, The Chisel and Refused.

Under the new partnership, Raw Power’s U.K. team, including Jennings and commercial director Don Jenkins, will relocate to ATC Management’s London headquarters. Both companies’ LA-based operations will also merge with immediate effect.

Braille art gift for girl born without eyes

A one-year-old girl who was born without eyes has received a Braille artwork specially made by a blind artist.

Margot was born with a rare condition called bilateral anophthalmia, meaning her eyes and optic nerves never developed in the womb.
