The Art League of Long Island Announces New Exhibit: “Cynthia Pascal: A Retrospective”

The Art League of Long Island announces the retrospective exhibit of Cynthia Pascal in the Jeanne Tengelsen Gallery. The opening reception takes place on Saturday, April 15, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A celebratory remembrance introduction will be held from 6:00 – 6:30, followed by light refreshments and the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition in the Gallery. The exhibition is on view through April 23, 2023. 

Cynthia Pascal was an American Artist, born and raised in New York. She achieved her Bachelor of Arts, MSW, and PHD in Social Work and managed a practice as a psychotherapist for over 40 years.

Ms. Pascal studied painting with Arthur Sternberg in Old Westbury College and at the New School for Social Research in New York City. Her formal training provided a beginning structure that she soon broke from to create her own unique statement. She does not start out with a preconceived narrative when she paints and is always open to discover meaning in the process.

ATC Acquires Majority Stake in Raw Power to Form UK Artist Management ‘Powerhouse’

Financial terms reveal that ATC paid £1.4 million ($1.8 million) for a 55% stake in Raw Power, which was founded in 2006 by CEO Craig JenningsRod Smallwood and Andy Taylor. Headquartered in London and with offices in Los Angeles, Raw Power’s other clients include The Mars Volta, The Damned, You Me At Six, Don Broco, Heartworms, Kid Kapichi, The Chisel and Refused.

Under the new partnership, Raw Power’s U.K. team, including Jennings and commercial director Don Jenkins, will relocate to ATC Management’s London headquarters. Both companies’ LA-based operations will also merge with immediate effect.

A one-year-old girl who was born without eyes has received a Braille artwork specially made by a blind artist.

Margot was born with a rare condition called bilateral anophthalmia, meaning her eyes and optic nerves never developed in the womb.
