The 15th Edition Of The India Art Fair Promises A Wider Showcase, More Galleries And Curated Exhibits
In its 15th edition, the India Art Fair has not only become one of the country’s leading cultural events but has also transformed into a celebration of the featured artists. It advocates for the idea that contemporary art has the ability to evoke profound concepts through visual experiences. But beyond the artistic aspect, the fair has facilitated sales for galleries, attracting both established and new millennial collectors interested in various mediums, genres, and price ranges.
As the latest edition approaches in New Delhi from February 1 to 4, 2024—marking its biggest edition yet with over 100 exhibitors from India and beyond—the fair introduces a new collectible ‘Design’ section, high-quality ‘Outdoor Projects’, significant artist commissions, and a diverse range of art, including traditional and next-gen digital works. Fair director Jaya Asokan provides a guided tour, offering insights into what attendees can anticipate.
Three passionate Lancaster based freelance artists, Hannah Corbett, Lidia Ranns, and Julie Evans, are uniting their creative forces to transform the city into a vibrant hub of artistic expression with the expanded Lancaster Art Fair (LAF), running from August 19th to 23rd, 2025.
This year, LAF is evolving into a larger, city wide festival, thanks to their dedicated collaboration and partnerships with established local arts organisations.

On the plane back from Miami, I add up expenses versus income from this year’s Untitled Art Fair. It is our third year here, and our first bust. As a small Midwestern gallery, two major art fairs a year — Untitled in Miami and the Outsider Art Fair in New York — can generate a quarter of our annual income. Even more importantly, they help us develop a national collector base for regional artists. There is no other way to survive.
It is expensive to participate in more selective and carefully curated international fairs, such as Untitled. Our three-walled, 14 x 14-foot space cost $17,400. Housing for the staff, transportation, food, and additional framing rounded out the total to about $30,000.
