Who wouldn’t want to spend a summer cruising through the canals of Venice while climbing up their career ladder? The Misk Art Institute’s summer curatorial program is offering just that to professional Saudi curators – but the window to apply is closing soon. If you want a chance to explore the city of Venice as you explore the world of art curation, make sure you submit your application to this program by April 21st.

What can you expect from this course? From June 6th to September 1st, this intensive three-month program will be led by an international cohort of professors, scholars, historians and art critics. Participants in this program will develop their curation skills through cultural trips, site visits and more. This program focuses on critical writing skills, exhibition curation and design, the history of curatorial practices, fine arts management, and the history of contemporary art. The program provides roundtrip flights to Venice, Italian visas, accommodation, expert mentorship, course costs, and a stipend as participants unpack the artistic discourse that surrounds the International Biennales and the cultural organization of the city of Venice.
