The spring auction features an important group of works from the collection of Peter Adam. At the centre of this collection are works by Keith Vaughan, acquired directly from the artist. These include the painting Foreshore with Three Figures (1963), a rare self-portrait (1950) and a gouache Two Seated Figures (1955).
The sale also includes a prime Frank Auerbach drawing of Morning Crescent, a large Gerald Scarfe Pink Floyd painting, and unique works by Edward Seago, Mary Fedden, Alfred Wallis, Louis Wain, Gillian Ayres and Grayson Perry.
