Tomorrow evening, the vibrant heart of Bangkok will pulsate with a fresh rhythm as the ‘Colorful Bangkok Expo 2024’ opens its doors. Promising an immersive experience in the city’s contemporary art scene, the expo is set to play out at the Lan Khon Mueang square, situated in front of the Bangkok City Hall in Sao Chingcha. The week-long spectacle, running daily from 4pm to 9pm until Sunday, is the grand finale of the three-month ‘Colorful Bangkok 2023’ initiative—a celebration of the city’s artistic diversity and cultural vibrancy.

Unveiling an Artistic Fusion

The event has something for everyone: an art market brimming with creativity, electrifying stage shows, an outdoor cinema under the starlit sky, thought-provoking talk sessions, and soul-stirring concerts. Attendees will be treated to a variety of contemporary performances each day, ranging from live music to stand-up comedy, traditional Thai folk songs, and evocative pantomime. The lineup boasts several notable indie artists and bands, ensuring each day is a unique artistic journey.

ATC Acquires Majority Stake in Raw Power to Form UK Artist Management ‘Powerhouse’

Financial terms reveal that ATC paid £1.4 million ($1.8 million) for a 55% stake in Raw Power, which was founded in 2006 by CEO Craig JenningsRod Smallwood and Andy Taylor. Headquartered in London and with offices in Los Angeles, Raw Power’s other clients include The Mars Volta, The Damned, You Me At Six, Don Broco, Heartworms, Kid Kapichi, The Chisel and Refused.

Under the new partnership, Raw Power’s U.K. team, including Jennings and commercial director Don Jenkins, will relocate to ATC Management’s London headquarters. Both companies’ LA-based operations will also merge with immediate effect.

Margot was born with a rare condition called bilateral anophthalmia, meaning her eyes and optic nerves never developed in the womb.
