For the last few days, the Bangalore International Centre has been hosting a tribute to the city of Bengaluru as it once was, and to the city it is becoming. Since December 9, the centre has been showcasing an art exhibition titled ‘Bangalore Then and Now’, hosted by Paul Fernandes and co-curated by Prateeti Punja Ballal.

The exhibition is based on the book The Great Bangalore Morph: From Kempe Gowda to Covid by Fernandes and Chicku Jayadeva. Fernandes has also been sharing his memories of the city while giving visitors a tour through the unique collection which includes watercolour paintings, black and white artworks, fallen leaves incorporated into complete drawings of fish and birds, and even a plaster-of-Paris relief.
